Introduction
We gamers abuse our batteries. We charge 3 times a day and play while plugged in. If you want your phone to last more than a year without battery issues, you need to change some habits.
1. The 20% - 80% Rule
Lithium-ion batteries hate being empty (0%) or full (100%).
Pro Tip: Charge your phone when it hits 20%. Unplug it when it hits 80%. This "Sweet Spot" doubles your battery lifespan.
2. Never Play While Charging
I know, we all do it. But playing generates heat + Charging generates heat.
Result: Double Heat = Permanent Battery Damage.
If you must play, take a 10-minute break to charge, then play again.
3. Use Original Cable
Cheap ₹50 cables charge slowly and fluctuate voltage. This can damage your charging port and the battery chip. Always use the original brick and cable, or a certified brand like Samsung/Anker.
Conclusion
Your battery is the heart of your phone. Treat it well, and it will give you consistent performance in matches for years
