Storage Full? How to Clear Space for Large Games Without Deleting Photos

 Introduction

"Storage Space Running Out." This notification is a nightmare. Games these days are huge (BGMI is 2GB, Genshin Impact is 15GB). How do you fit them in a 64GB phone without deleting your precious photos and memories?

Here is the smart way to clean junk effectively.

1. Clear "Cache" Not Data

Every app stores temporary files called Cache. YouTube and Instagram can have GBs of cache.

Go to: Settings > Apps > Manage Apps.

Select big apps like Instagram/YouTube.

Click "Clear Cache". (Do NOT click Clear Data, or you will get logged out).

2. Delete WhatsApp Database Backups

WhatsApp creates a local backup every day. You don't need the old ones.

Go to: File Manager > Android > Media > com.whatsapp > WhatsApp > Databases.

Delete all files except the latest one (check the date). This can free up 2-3 GB instantly!

3. The ".Thumbnails" Folder

Your gallery creates hidden thumbnail images that take up huge space.

Open File Manager > Enable "Show Hidden Files".

Search for .thumbnails and delete everything inside.

Conclusion

You don't need an SD card. You just need to clean the invisible junk regularly. Do this once a week to keep your phone fast.
